Dr Louisa Buck is an artist and academic who is interested in the adaptation of classical mythology in contemporary times. For her PhD she looked at the use of Greek mythology in the British political cartoon, with a case study of The Myth of Sisyphus. She is currently learning Ancient Greek (very slowly) and translating Homer’s Odyssey into image.
